A challenge was set by Balfour Beatty and Telford and Wrekin Council for schools to design a bridge footbridge to link with the new restructuring of the train station and town centre link bridge currently being erected. Mrs Richards/Mrs Wards class took up the challenge and designed a bridge using their knowledge of bridge building which they had learnt during a bridge project they have recently undertaken in their Design and Technology lessons. They were very excited to learn they had won the Primary prize in the aesthetic section, and won a day visit to Enginuity.
