Redhill Primary Academy (Community School) was opened by Rt. Hon. David Blunkett MP, Secretary of State for Education and Employment on 1st April 1998. It is located on Gatcombe Way in Priorslee. We opened for pupils on the 27th April 1998. With 419 children in our school, we are larger than average primary school; we currently have 14 class bases, a large hall, sensory garden, wildlife area, small forest school plot and a large playing field with excellent outdoor resources. There is an EYFS provision for children in Nursery and Reception, taking grant funded and fee paying sessions. Provision is offered for before and after school for pupils aged 4 to 11 in the form of a breakfast and after school club, alongside a wide variety of extra-curricular after school clubs run by our own school staff and outside providers.
The car park is only designated for staff, unless you hold a disabled badge, and can therefore use the designated disabled parking bay. All the grounds are on one level, with access into and out of the building without the use of steps, making it accessible for wheelchairs users. There is also a ramp entrance, that enables access to the Nursery demountable.
