Grace Hill:

Grace Hill has 3 boys in the school and works full time as a parenting practitioner. New to the role as Chair, Grace said “I originally became a friend to support the school and to be involved in the boy’s school life. I am looking forward to my new role, putting on different events, and raising vital funds for Redhill which will then be enjoyed by my children and all the children in the future.”

Rachel Sutherland:

Rachel Sutherland is a full-time auditor with Capgemini – she’s been involved with The Friends since her twin boys were in Reception (they are in Year 5 now!) and is now Vice-Chair. She said – “I love helping to plan events and then seeing all the children enjoy them! I get a lot of satisfaction from seeing the difference we make to the school – it’s all worth it!”

Amy Jones:

Amy Jones is a Trading Standards compliance officer and has been a part of The Friends since her son was in reception 10 years ago. Amy currently has a daughter in year 5 and is a joint secretary for the friends. Amy said “I have always enjoyed being able to arrange fun things for the children to take part in. It feels like an achievement to be able to contribute to their time at primary school and to help make some great memories for them.”

Rosie Rowley:

Rosie Rowley works as a full-time Data Analyst and currently has a boy in Year 1 and a girl in Nursery. She has recently joined the Friends as the Social Media Coordinator so she can be involved more in the children's school life. Rosie said "I am looking forward to planning new and exciting events which makes school a fun an exciting place to be for all of the children!"

Sophie Hine:

Sophie is mum of two with her eldest starting at Redhill this year and has been the Pre-Loved School Uniform Coordinator since then. She is a paediatrician working throughout the West Midlands. Sophie said “I joined the PTA to help learn more about the school and have loved participating in the events. I enjoy doing the school uniform and feeling like part of the community working with the other friends of Redhill”.

Teresa Hodson:

Teresa is a mum of two with a daughter at Redhill. She is a Lead Practitioner teacher at a local Secondary school with a specialism in Art and Teaching & Learning. She recently joined the Friends as Community Liaison. She said “I joined the Friends to be involved in the life and community of the school and to support the amazing events and fundraising that make such a difference to the children. “ She is inspired by the quote “It takes a noble man to plant a seed for a tree that will some day give shade to people he may never meet.” D.
