During October, the children in Year 1 walk around the local area to support their geography studies of the surrounding areas of the school. When on their walk, the children spotted key places like shops, a doctor’s surgery and the park. There was also a discussion around which of these are physical features and which of these are human features. The children were so well behaved whilst on their walk and we were very proud of them working so hard whilst out in our community.
