In the Autumn term we were learning about our local area, in our geography lessons. We wanted to find out more about local houses and shops. We began by looking at a large map of our local area and talked about the kind of housing that we might see. We then went on a walk of the local area. We took a map so that we could find and record the different types of housing and shops. We learnt about the human and physical features.
